The double-subject degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Ancient Greek Literature and its Tradition” is provided by the University of Bonn and covers six semesters. During the enire study course, participants will accumulate deep knowledge about Greek and Roman antiquity and its impact on literature, culture and language. Ancient texts are considered to be essential for Europe’s identity, therefore they are perused within the program. The study of Greek literature is expressed in historical dimension  by tracking it, from Middle Ages to modern times. The research aspect of the study program is held via philological-editorial work and the history of obtaining and transmission of Greek and Latin texts. Future occupations are prolific and alumni can become competent employees at scientific organizations, research institutions, consulting and libraries.
