The six-semester degree program „Bachelor of Arts in Arabic” at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn is taught in English and German and it is mandatory for the profile Islamic studies as it serves the purpose to provide fundamental knowledge in spoken and written Arabic language. Students will focus on speaking, listening, writing and reading skills. The academic content includes Arabic script input, groundwork of Arabic grammar, vocabulary in modern High Arabic. All applicants are required to combine this major with another during thier academic study. Conceivable prospects for the students are places in the fields of tourism, journalism, science, intercultural communication and management.
