The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Catholic Theology” is offered at the University of Bonn and lasts six semesters. It is steered to provide students with theological and philosophical principals above which, theological subject groups Biblical, Historical, Systematic and Practical Theology are constructed. There are strong emphasis on learning about ecumenism, connection with other religions or sciences, Bible and church texts which require knowledge of Latin, Greek, Hebrew languages. After completing the study course successfully, graduates possess with necessity competencies and academic learnings to set off work places in areas of lecturing, pastoral care, at research and educational institutions or press radio.
