The subsequent degree program “Master of Education in Catholic Religious Education” lasts four semesters and is offered by the University of Bonn. Educational sciences and subject pedagogy are central components in this particular program. Participants acquire knowledge of methods and processes of teaching religious education and all challenges of the religious education are examined within the study course. Moreover, there is an internship semester in which students gain valuable experience and confidence for their future career at churches, research institutions, universities or religious associations.
