The University of Bonn offers the six-semester degree program „Bachelor of Science in Computer Science”. The main accent of the program is to impart competencies and academic knowledge to participants about development of various computer applications via algorithms. Throughout the study course, students will become familiar with the mathematical portrayal of a particular problem and finding solutions and strategies to tackle the problem. Moreover, applicants learn the basics of hardware and establish valuable practical skills. Students may choose specialization in fields of Algorithmics, Autonomous Systems, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Data Science, IT Security and Visualization. Possible career areas are in programming, development of systems and applications, teaching, consulting or administrations.
