The consecutive degree program “Master of Education in Computer Science” offered by University of Bonn lasts four semesters. Students gain knowledge about main topics related to algorithms, graphics/visual systems/audio, information and communication management, and intelligent systems. Also, they become familiar with methodology and strategies of teaching practices and further improvement and development of them via contemporary subject-specific solutions. There is a strong emphasis on subject pedagogy and educatonal sciences within the study course. Students can gain valuable working skill via the internship semester in which subject didactics studies are coalesced with school experiences. The potential career opportunities are in areas like IT secors, administrations, consulting, systems’ development and educational institutes. In order to teach at grammar and comprehensive schools, two subjects are required for studying.
