Description
There is a twelve-semester State Examination program of “Human Medicine” offered at the Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, held in three languages: German, Italian and Spanish. It is aimed to provide participants with fundamental academic knowledge about bodily functions, human ailments, skills of medical examination, health protection and rehabilitation. The curriculum is consists of several modules: scholastic foundations of biology, physics and chemistry, structure and functions of the human body, and specialization of surgery, dermatology, neurology, forensic medicine or pediatrics. The practical aspect of the entire program is expressed by a nursing internship, four-month clinical traineeship in hospitals and a practical year. Students will gain the necessary experience and competencies to take positions at hospitals, clinics, universities or health offices.
