The six-semester degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Indonesian” at the University of Bonn is conducted in both German and English. The curriculum consists of modules which are focused on writing, speaking, listening and reading skills. Initially, applicants will become familiar with the grammar and communication in day-to-day life in Indonesial language. Later on, they will get involved into more proficient levels, so they can comprehend the intelectual life in Indonesia. Participants will combine this accompanying subject with subjects from Southeast Asian Studies or Comparative Religion profiles. As the Indonesial language is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, students will have many doors open for their future career. Typical areas of occupancy are international management and communication, tourism, management of worldwide cultural heritage, and more.
