The international-oriented degree program “Master of Arts in Latin American Cultural Studies/Estudios culturales de América Latina” at the University of Bonn has a duration of four semesters and it is held in three languages: Spanish, English and German. It is suitable for students who willing to extend their academic knowledge of cultural studies debates, research and linguistic development in Spanish. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary approach of recent cultural processes in Latin America in areas of literature, linguistics, media studies, and historical-ethnological studies. Applicants learn to deal with recent conversion operations and process them in their social context and theoretical matter, via literary studies and cultural anthropology. Moreover, postgraduates receive in-depth historical knowledge and learn about cultural processes through Romance Studies and Ancient American Studies.
