Description
The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Art History (Minor subject)” is provided by the Heinrich Heine University. This course is a six-semester, German-taught program. The main goal of this undergraduate program is to further the participants’ academic knowledge and skills in the area of art history, including its late antiquity, middle-ages, modern and present times. Furthermore, the students will deepen their understanding in ornamentation, design, sculpture, urbanism, and many others. The participants also get the option to combine their minor subject with a major one, while choosing between the subjects of art history, historical studies, English and American, Jewish or Japanese studies, philosophy, German or Romance Languages and Literatures. The future graduates will be highly qualified for many career pathways in media, education, museums, public services, public relations, art departments, galleries, etc. The admission requirements consist of a general university entry certificate.
