The “Master of Arts in Geragogics” is a 4-semester long extra-occupational program conducted in German. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma who wish to further their qualifications. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in Gerontology, Gerontopedagogy, Old people in Society, Philosophy and Theology of Old Age, Philosophical and Ethical Aspects, and Subject Didactics and Methodology. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by taking up elective modules. Through various group projects and seminars, they’ll gain hands-on experiance and industry-specific skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in educational and social institutions.
