The “Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education” is a 6-semester long program taught in German. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses with a focus on developmental Psychology and Counseling, Domain-Specific Educational Processes, Professional Perception and Action, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination, Social Pedagogy - Social Work, and more. Also, students can personalise their education by taking up elective modules. The BA is application-oriented seminars and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience and key competencies. Furthermore, it promotes the development of soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication and organisation, moderation, and more. The BA prepared graduates for work in educational institutions and advice centres. Also, graduates can opt for a later Master’s degree.
