The degree program "Master of Education in Teacher Education Primary School with a focus on European Teaching“ is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It builds on the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at Karlsruhe University. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Pedagogy, Psychology, Sociology, Digital Education, Bilingual Subject, and more. Also, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. Тhe MEd is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience and key competencies. The program also promotes the development of soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication and organisation, moderations, etc. The MEd prepares graduates to become teachers at elementary schools.
