The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Law and Social Sciences – Economics concentration” offered by University of Erfurt provides a unique combination of the three disciplines. The course of study is compound of a major and minor field of research. In both subject areas students can examine economic mechanism from different theoretical viewpoints. Furthermore, they will learn about how decentralized economies function and how private and public organizations work and adapts, as well as their influence on the economy. A key topic in the framework of the course are the possibilities and limitations of correcting unfavourable trends by administrative regulations and economic policy actions. Graduates of the program work in the banking sector, market research, private and public management, and etc.
