The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies” offered by University of Erfurt provides a thorough education in the European and American literatures. Throughout the course of study, participants will study and compare several European and American literature pieces. Moreover, they will examine literature through the lens of media research and in relation to different media and artistic traditions. Students will take classes in media, film, and television studies. Furthermore, they will be taught about literature studies` theoretical roots and academic research. To be fully prepared for their professional lives, students will develop their social and cultural skills, such as creativity, foreign languages and problem-solving skills. Graduates of the program build careers in the fields of adult education, publishing, journalism, media, and etc.
