The study program “Master of Arts in Literary Studies: Texts.Signs.Media” offered by University of Erfurt provides an education, suitable for bachelor graduates in literary studies, media or cultural studies. It is particularly aimed at these students, because it is an interdisciplinary course of study, allowing students to study literature in the light of other sign traditions and media. All those who are interested in evolving or ongoing processes of meaning creation, transformation, and interruption in literate and other modes of representation and media, as well as career changers from other disciplines such as philosophy, are also welcomed to the program. Graduates of the program are active in the areas of publishing, cultural work, advertising, journalism, and etc.
