The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Special Need Pedagogy” offered by University of Erfurt provides a comprehensive education in Educational Science, Social science and Psychology. Students will develop a better understanding of disability and disadvantage throughout the course of study. Incorporated to the curriculum, participants also learn the fundamentals of German and mathematics. During the classes they also gain knowledge about the key topics and working processes of special education and integration pedagogy. Graduates of the program work in the area of teaching and supporting at special schools and support centre, or in the extracurricular inclusive education field. For booth options, graduates need proof of Master of Education, too.
