The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education” offered by University of Erfurt provides a minor subject, whose concentration is on human activity and sport. Students examine sport studies and education in the humanities, social and natural sciences. They will learn the relevant theory and practice of sport and topics, related to the sports science, such as sports medicine, sports and physical education and etc. Participants will gain essential skills, needed for the practice. They also get trained in swimming, gymnastics, volleyball, handball and etc. Graduates of the program can teach sport at primary, regular or vocational school, but they should first complete a relevant Master of Education. They can also work in the fields of recreational sports, physical education, and in science and research.
