The 4-semester degree program “Master of Arts in Art Education” is providing a consecutive degree program. Offered by University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, the course of study puts its focus on educational basics through an artistic prism. During the course, History and analysis of artistic media, Biography and art education, Artistic action, Art educational project, Basics of psychology for non-psychologists and many more core subjects are taught. Moreover, an internship is integrated, aiming to strengthen the practical relevance of the course. In addition, participants acquire the essential empirical educational researchmethods. However, for admission to the course a bachelor’s degree in fine art, media art, graphic design, product design or in art education is a prerequisite.
