The two-subject degree program “Bachelor of Arts in English and American Studies” offered by University of Erlangen-Nuremberg can be combined with the bachelor’s degrees in Archaeological Sciences, Book Sciences, Digital Humanities and Social Sciences and many more. The course of study has a length of 6 semesters. Cultural studies, Literary Studies, Linguistics, American Studies and British Studies are taught. In order to enroll in this program, applicants are required to take on a compulsory aptitude assessment procedure before the start of studies. The advanced intermediate module deepens and links the subject-specific knowledge and at the same time leads to a higher level of theoretical reflection. Moreover, the end of the course provides for the creation of a Bachelor’s thesis.
