Description

The teacher education program „German as a second language” is offered by University of Erlangen-Nuremberg provides for a comprehensive didactic-methodical knowledge. The course of study puts its emphasis on regional studies as well as cultural theory. Two courses of study are offered: Teaching profession elementary school or middle school and All teaching professions: extension studies. Moreoever, various internships are integrated in the program, aiming to strengthen the practical relevance of the course. The modules "Introduction to the Didactics of German as a Second Language" and "Fundamentals of German as a Second Language I& II" are mandatory.
