Description
The consecutive degree program “Master of Science in Human Rights” is offered by University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. It amounts to 3 semesters, and has a modular structure. During the 1st semester, module 1 is taken. Here, participants are involved in lectures, seminars and different tutorials. The 2nd module is called Human Rights Politics, whereas the 3rd one- Human Rights Law. During the 2nd semester, the specialization courses take place. Participants are offered the option to choose 4 seminars out of the following: Economic Social Cultural Rights, Business and Human Rights, Freedom of Religion or Belief, Social Movements and Human Rights, Rights of Persons with Disabilities, International Criminal Law, Transitional Justice, Human Rights of Refugees and Philosophy and Human Rights. For admission to the couse, a completed university degree is a prerequisite.
