The practice-oriented state examination course “Medicine” is offered by University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. It is spanning a duration of approximately 12 semesters. In the first section of the medical examination, the scientific basics are covered. Moreover, an internship in physics, chemistry, biology is also provided. Furthermore, a practical course in physiology, biochemistry or molecular biology is incorporated as well. In addition, various other internships in clinical medicine, occupational research and medical terminology are included, aiming to strengthen the practical relevance of the program.
