The practice-oriented degree program “Medicine FAU/Bayreuth” is offered by University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. It has a length of approximately 12 semesters. During the first 4 semesters, the scientific basics are learned: chemistry, biology including an internship in physics. Furthermore, clinical medicine internship, occupational research and medical terminology inernships are also incorporated. In addition, the preclinical phase is taking place at FAU and clinical training in the future is at the Bayreuth Clinic.
