The study program “Protestant Theology” is offered by University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. The course of study is geared towards students who are interested in theology. The latter program has a length of 9 to 12 semesters. The Church exam option lasts 12 semesters, whereas the Magister Theologiae- 9 semesters. The subjects taught include Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, Systematic Theology, Practical Theology, Religious Еducation, Subject Didactics and Religious Studies.Тhrough the intermediate examination, students should demonstrate that they have acquired the fundamentals of their subject which is necessary to continue their studies successfully. In addition, the latter curriculum can be combined with other degrees.
