The University of Fine Arts Münster has adopted the Bachelor-Master model for Arts Teacher Training courses, introduced in North-Rhine Westphalia, through a program with a duration of ten semesters – six semesters for the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Education, and four - for the Master of Education degree. The program of the studies adopts as its guiding principle the combination of high artistic expression stimulation, through individual flexible choice of studio and additional art-related subjects curriculum, and promoting the social and cultural responsibility, which teaching arts involves. The Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster cooperates throughout the entire course, supplying the educational sciences and the necessary subject areas according to the type of school. Specific art studio work in the thirteen available media, didactic components and practice phases, lectures given by internationally renowned names, as well as the truly contemporary artistic atmosphere the university and the city itself create, guarantee the quality of the studies.
