Description
The University of Flensburg offers the degree program “Master of Engineering in Energy and Environmental Management in Developing Countries” with a duration of eighteen months plus six months pre semester and conducted wholly in English language. The main objective is to train graduates to work as experts in the energy sector so they can Identify and analyze energy and environmental issues, managing processes and solve problems in a sustainable way. Applicants will not only obtain subject- specific competencies, but also capabilities to identify problems and find creative and innovative solutions, abilities to think and communicate in an intercultural way and capacities to lead teams effectively and encourage them. The syllabus includes the following disciplines: Business Economics and Energy Economics, Project Management, Renewable Energy and Energy Planning.
