Description
The English-language interdiscilinary degree program “Bachelor of Arts in European Cultures and Society” is offered by the University of Flensburg and encompasses six semesters. It is aimed to provide applicants with significant knowledge about European studies and European studies in the humanities, cultural studies and social sciences. Students will obtain subject-specific and methodological competencies in the areas of humanities, cultural studies and social sciences which are critically important for academic European studies. There is a strong emphasis on practical experience in creating various fields of hands-on relevant to Europe. The curriculum consists of modules which cover disciplines like Social sciences, Cultural sciences, Economic sciences and European Studies. Moreover, graduates can spend one semester abroad, due to the university partnership relations with other European or non-European institutions. Consequently, that will be beneficial for applicants because it will improve their foreign language and communication skills.
