The consecutive full-time degree program “Master of Arts in International Management Studies” at the University of Flensburg consists of four semester and is taught in both German and English. It is geared toward providing students with profound academic knowledge related to the business, foreign language and intercultural competence, methodological competence, leadership and social skills. The study course incorporates four optional specializations which will further develop students’ learnings and also will mould their individual profile. Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management is the first optional specialization and graduates can develop professional competencies to start small and medium-sized enterprises. Strategy and organization is the next specialization, followed by organizational behaviour and human resource management which deal with concepts and designs of working conditions. The last option for specialization is marketing and media management in which participants will explore communication with customers and advertising.
