The Master of Arts degree program “Kita-Master – Nursery Management” at University of Flensburg covers four semesters. It equips students with valuable learnings of early childhood education for leadership work and management positions. There are partnership relations with other German institutes such as the Mercator Institute at the University of Cologne, the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN) and the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel. Accordingly, alumni will be taught with newest expertise practice with cooperative state initiative "Education through Language and Literacy" (BISS). Educational and upbringing knowlege in critically important for professional training in early childhood, therefore students will explore topics of inclusion, development, diagnostics and support, social behavior, language, mathematical and scientific education, movement and health. Upon completion the entire study course, alumni can consider themselves as highly competent and qualified employees at daycare centers or other educational institutions.
