Description

Physics is one of the oldest, if not the oldest academic disciplines. Its main aim is to explain natural processes and phenomena and make sense of how the universe behaves. Physics degree courses typically include subjects like Electrodynamics, Classical Mechanics, Advanced Mathematics, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Signals and Systems, Foundations of Modern Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Thermodynamics and more. Physics students get to develop their creative-thinking, problem-solving, decision-making and innovative skills, in addition to the ability to solve quantitative problems, obtaining, organizing and interpreting scientific data, and researching and analyzing information. During the time spent doing practical work, students learn to conduct experiments and develop theories, and gain in-depth knowledge of natural laws in various branches of Physics. Graduates are fully endowed with an array of skills and professional experience. They have many job prospects in the field of Physics – research scientist, educator, medical physicist, meteorologist, healthcare scientist, metallurgist, design engineer, data analyst, lab technician, quantitative analyst, geophysicist, laser engineer, technical specialist, application engineer and many more.
