Description
The Graduate Institute Geneva offers the “Master of Advanced Studies in Transitional Justice, Human Rights and the Rule of Law”. This course is a full-time, one-year, English-taught program. The main purpose of this postgraduate degree is to further the knowledge and academic skills of the students in connection with transitional justice, human rights and law rule. Furthermore, the participants will deepen their understanding in ethnic cleansing, genocide, political history, violence and challenges, as well as institutional reforms, justice issues, law researches and analysis, and many others. Both lectures and practical seminars are provided throughout this course. After successful graduation, the participants will be well-prepare for variety of career pathways, related to human rights, rule of law, international humanitarian organisations, transitional justice, etc. The entry requirements consist of a finalised Bachelor’s degree in the fields of human rights, law or transitional justice, as well as language proficiency in English.
