The “Bachelor of Arts in Applied Theatre Studies” is provided at the Justus Liebig University Giessen. This course is a six-semester, German-taught program, and the participants need 120 ECTS credit points overall in order to graduate. The main purpose of this undergraduate course is to develop participants’ knowledge and academic abilities in the area of applied theatre science. Therefore, the students will deepen their understanding in different theatre concepts, processes, applications, history of theatre, etc. The future graduates will be highly qualified to work within variety of theatre departments. The entry requirements include a general university entry qualification, as well as evidence of artistic aptitude.
