The “Master of Science in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology” is provided at the Justus Liebig University Giessen. This course is divided into four semesters, and it is a German-taught program. It aims to develop the students’ understanding in the areas of bioinformatics and systems biology. Furthermore, the participants will gain knowledge in scientific researches, biology analysis, design and methods of biology, algorithms of bioinformatics, etc. During the last semester, the students need to prepare a Master’s thesis. The future graduates will be highly qualified for variety of career pathways in connection with bioinformatics and biology systems. The admission requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in any similar field, as well as language skills in German and English.
