The “Bachelor of Arts in The Culture of the Ancient World” degree is offered at the Justus Liebig University Giessen as a six-semester, German-taught, full time program. This course aims to introduce the participants to the culture of the ancient world and its history. Furthermore, the students will deepen their understanding in methodology, historical analysis and researches, classical archaeology, Latin and Greek philology, theology and many others. During their last semester of studies, the participants will need to prepare a Bachelor’s thesis. After successful graduation, the students will be qualified for variety of career pathways in museums, libraries, education, public services, culture departments, etc. The admission requirements include a general university entry qualification.
