The Justus Liebig University Giessen offers the state examination program “Dentistry”. This course is a German-taught, ten-semester program. The main purpose of this program is to develop the students’ knowledge and academic abilities in the area of dental treatment, dental history, physics, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microscopy and many others. Furthermore, the students will get the opportunity for a practical training in connection with teeth replacement, hygiene, jaw surgery, etc. After successful graduation, the participants get the chance to do a doctoral program. The entry requirements include a general university certificate, as well as language skills.
