The Justus Liebig University Giessen offers the „Bachelor of Arts in German Studies” as a six-semester, German-taught program. The main goal of this Bachelor’s degree is to introduce the participants to the basics and history of the German studies. Furthermore, the students will gain understanding and academic skills in the areas of philosophy, sociology, politics, foreign languages and many others. Therefore, the future graduates will be academically well-prepared for variety of career pathways in connection with the German studies and literature. The entry requirements include a general university entry qualification.
