The Justus Liebig University Giessen offers the state examination “Law”. This course is divided into nine semesters, and it is taught in German. The main purpose of this program is to develop the students’ academic knowledge and abilities in the fields of criminal, public and private law. Furthermore, the students will learn theories and principles that are connected with criminology, obligations and property law, society, social legislation, German law, European law, and many others. At the end of their studies, the participants will need to prepare both oral exam and a thesis. The entry requirements consist of general university entry qualification, as well as language skills in German and English.
