The continuing education program “Magister/Magistra Juris Internationalis” at Justus Liebig University Giessen focuses on historical and current legal regulations and other legal texts. The main aim of the course is to teach students the legal thinking and working methods, the historical, social, economic and philosophical foundations of law and the knowledge of the compulsory subjects including the regulations for legal proceedings. The curriculum covers the three major areas of German law: Civil law, Public law and Criminal law. The admission requirements for the course include the general higher education entrance qualification or equivalent, and a certificate stating that subject-specific advice has taken place in the Examinations Office of the Law Faculty of the JLU.
