The “Master of Arts in Modern Societies and Cultures” is provided by the Justus Liebig University Giessen. This course is a four-semester, German-taught program. It aims to introduce the participants to the modern societies and cultures. Therefore, the students will deepen their understanding in the areas of theories and principles of the modern societies, cultural differences and observations, foreign languages, ethics and many others. At the end of their education, the participants will need to prepare a Master’s thesis. The admission requirements for this postgraduate course include a finalised Bachelor’s degree in the area of social sciences, as well as language proficiency in German and English.
