The Justus Liebig University Giessen offers the “Bachelor of Arts in Music”. This course is a six-semester, German-taught program. The students need 180 ECTS credit points overall in order to finalise it. The main goal of this Bachelor’s degree is to introduce the participants to the basics, history and theories of music. Furthermore, the students will gain knowledge and skills in music researches and analysis, application of music, languages, systematic musicology, society, etc. The future graduates will be well prepared to work across the music industry, education, tourism, event management, media, books publishing, cultural departments and many others. The entry requirements include a general university entry qualification and evidence of aptitude test results.
