The Justus Liebig University Giessen offers the “Master of Science in Oenology”. This course is divided into four semesters, and it is a German-taught. The main purpose of this course is to develop the participants’ knowledge and skills in the area of oenology. Therefore, the students will deepen their understanding in biochemistry, molecular plant pathology, environmental analysis, applied statistics, chemistry, viniculture strategies and many others. After successful graduation, the participants will be academically well-prepared to work within microbiology departments, beverage industry, viniculture, etc. The entry requirements include a finalised Bachelor’s degree in the major of oenology, viniculture or beverage technologies.
