The “Master of Science in Physics” is provided at the Justus Liebig University Giessen. This course is a four-semester, German-taught program. The students need 120 ECTS credit points overall, in order to finalise it. Throughout this postgraduate course the participants will get the chance to choose their academic subjects between the fields of subatomic, solid-state, atom, plasma, and space flight physics. Furthermore, the students will further their knowledge and abilities in physical theories and experiments, statistical analysis, mathematics, computational physics, electrodynamics, electronics development, etc. At the end of their studies, the participants will need to prepare a Master’s thesis. The future graduates will be highly qualified to work across physics education, research departments, technological companies, IT services and many others. The admission requirements for this program consist of a finalised Bachelor’s degree in the area of physics.
