The Justus Liebig University Giessen offers the “Bachelor of Arts in Russophone Studies”. This course is a six-semester, German-taught program. The main purpose of this Bachelor’s degree is to introduce the students to the basics of Russophone studies. Furthermore, the participants will get familiar with the Eastern European history, Russian studies, including language, linguistics, culture and literature. The students will also deepen their understanding in the area of the Russian Empire, statistics and history. The future graduates will be highly qualified to work within media, cultural departments, business management teams, museums, research institutions, education, etc. The admission requirements consist of a general university entry certificate.
