The “Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences” is provided at the Justus Liebig University Giessen as a six-semester, German-taught program. It aims to introduce the students to the basics of the social sciences. Furthermore, the participants will expand their knowledge and skills in the fields of political sciences, sociology, social organisations, social behaviour, data collection and analysis, methodology, comparative sociology, comparative sociology and many others. At the end of their studies, the participants will need to prepare a Bachelor’s thesis. After successful graduation, the students will be well-prepared to work across government, international organisations, social departments, cultural departments, social care management, etc. The admission requirements include a general university entry qualification.
