The teaching degree “Teaching Qualification for Primary Education” is provided by the Justus Liebig University Giessen. This course is divided into seven semesters, and it is taught in German. The main purpose of this program is to develop the students’ academic knowledge and understanding in the fields of the German language, linguistic, culture and history. Furthermore, the students will expand their skills in grammar, writing, researches, methodology, didactical models and theories, orthography, speaking, listening and many others. This teaching degree ends with a final state exam that needs to be undertaken by the students. The future graduates will be highly qualified for teaching working positions within German primary schools. The admission requirements include a general university entry certificate.
