Description
The “Master of Science in Sustainable Transition” program at Justus Liebig University Giessen is a fully digital program, taught entirely in English. Over the study period of 4 semesters, students learn to analyze and understand the concept of sustainability and the involved trade-offs through the lens of different disciplines. Applied Statistics, Theory and Practice of Economic Development, Global Food Markets, Climate Change and Development, Resource Economics, Sustainability & Environmental Management and other subjects are part of the course curriculum. Admission requirements include either a university entrance qualification or a completed Bachelor’s degree, depending on the entry procedure. Graduates are qualified for working in areas that are closely related to sustainable transition processes in agricultural and food systems.
