The state examination program “Veterinary Medicine” is offered at the Justus Liebig University Giessen as a German-taught program. The duration of this course is five years and six months. The main purpose of it is to expand the participants’ knowledge and skill in the fields of veterinary medicine. Furthermore, the students will deepen their understanding in zoology, chemistry, physics, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, etc. After finalising their studies, the participants will be highly qualified to do a doctorate program or to work, in connection with the veterinary medicine. The admission requirements include a general university entry qualification.
