The “Bachelor of Arts in Ancient Cultures” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. The main topics discussed in the program are ancient cultures of Europe, ancient Greece, the Roman Empire, Syria and Palestine, as well as Mesopotamia and Egypt. Furthermore, participants have the opportunity to choose a field of professionalisation and further their competence. The BA is a foundation for a later Master’s degree. Occupational opportunities include work in work at museums, libraries, newspapers, radio and television, media, travel companies, and more.
