The “Bachelor of Arts in Ancient Near Eastern Studies” is a 3-year long program taught in German. The program focuses mainly on Sumerian and Babylonian mythology. It aims to give students a fundamental understanding of cultural sciences for example literature, religion, and history. Students will gain extensive theoretical knowledge and key competencies. The BA qualifies graduates for a later Master’s degree. Upon completion of the program, graduates can find work in journalism, publishing, libraries, tourism, museums, as well as in IT.
